Padstow is a charming seaside town with a food scene as rich as its history and as magnificent as its coastline. Located in the southwestern region of England in the county of Cornwall, the town boasts beautiful beaches, stunning art galleries and plenty of nature hikes for those who want to Wander Like an Outdoor Adventurer!

Where to Stay
We love the PIG at Harlyn Bay for its great character, excellent service and spectacular attention to detail. “From plants to people, homegrown in every way,” is the mantra of The PIG at Harlyn Bay - a delightfully cozy and uniquely Cornish hotel in Padstow that prides itself on being sociable, down-to-earth and keen on dinnertime - not unlike a pig! This special property is one of Cornwall's most historic houses with 16th century origins and plasterwork plus other features from Medieval, Jacobean and Georgian times. We love the attention to detail in each room and on the grounds of this very special escape, not to mention the Lobster Shed - an outdoor eating space with the most outstanding seaside views.

Where to Eat
There are two names to know in the Padstow food scene: Rick Stein and Paul Ainsworth. Both chefs and restaurateurs have elevated Padstow’s culinary culture with care and we could not be more excited about what they’ve come up with. We are partial to Paul Ainsworth at No 6, a Michelin star beauty set in a Georgian townhouse. With a delightfully chic and cozy atmosphere, No 6 aims to showcase extraordinary ingredients to guests, with cooking inspired by Cornish produce and local seafood. Enjoy the seasonally shifting menu and a glass of wine that pairs perfectly.

Where to Shop
BinTwo is known for its good food, good wine and great people which come together beautifully at this “wine merchant with a twist.” Also part coffee shop and tapas eatery, whether you’ve just come off the beach or are sprucely dressed for a nice dinner, BinTwo is always a great choice. And, just a 15 minute drive from Padstow is a terrific little market called Hawksfield Artisan Village. There you’ll find a unique mix of independent stores, artisan makers, exceptional food, coffee and more for lifestyle, home and wellbeing.
For the Artist in You
Tucked at the end of Padstow’s picturesque harborfront in the midst of stunning estuary views lies The Picture House Gallery - a vibrant and friendly gallery, showcasing a wide range of contemporary paintings, fused glass, ceramics and prints. We love stopping in here to support the community’s artists, not to mention taking in breathtaking views!
